LONG ISLAND

Long Island is a distinctive community located in the middle of the wilderness, complete with lovely beaches, cozy caves, lush rolling hills, and luscious mangrove forests. This island is undiscovered from the standpoint of tourism and has lush tropical woods, tidal wetlands, and evergreen forests in addition to a distinctive marine habitat. Lalaji Bay, which has a lovely silvery beach, is one of the best sites to visit on this island. A boat tour along the Mangrove creek is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Furthermore, Merk Bay Beach is located here, which is one of the best beaches in the Andaman Islands. Besides bathing and snorkeling on the white sand beach, you can also watch dolphins and birds, and don't miss out on visiting Guitar Island; a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxation.

Major attractions in Long Island

LALAJI BAY BEACH

A popular swimming spot on Long Island is Lalaji bay beach.  On clear sky days, the water appears to sparkle like an emerald. There are a few snorkeling options here, but it is a fantastic place for a picnic. In addition to the beautiful sandy coastlines, the beach has a serene atmosphere that makes it a wonderful place to visit.

MERK BAY BEACH

This pristine beach is located on North Passage Island, just a few minutes by boat from Long Island, and can only be reached by boat with permission from the forest department. Mangroves cover half of the island, and Merk Bay Beach covers the other. The turquoise water combined with the highly shimmering white sand beach epitomises unseen beauty. It is strongly advised that you bring your snorkeling equipment because the reefs here are spectacular.

GUITAR ISLAND

Guitar Island Beach is one of the least visited islands in the Andaman and Nicobar groups. By taking a seaplane ride from Andaman Island, one can see the unique shape of this island which resembles a guitar from the sky. There's nothing like the tranquil sea greeting you and changing color every hour.
