CRUISE DETAILS
At present, four cruises operate on these islands, connecting Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island.
The details of all cruises are listed below:
1. Mak Logistics Pvt Ltd operates the largest fleet of three cruise ships that connect Port Blair, Havelock, Neil Islands, and Baratang Islands. The cruises are named as :
(a) MAKRUZZ – Mak Logistics Pvt Ltd acquired this cruise from Damen Shipping, Singapore in 2009. It is a Catamaran class ship with two decks and three seating classes, Premium Class, Deluxe Class, and Royal Class.
(b) MAKRUZZ GOLD – Makruzz acquired this vessel from Damen Shipping in the year 2016. This is the largest vessel of the three and can seat 333 guests over two decks.
(c) MAKRUZZ PEARL--This is the latest vessel acquired by MAK Logistics Pvt Ltd in 2018. This single-deck catamaran cruise can accommodate 250 guests.
2. NAUTIKA
Nautika is a complete luxury cruise that offers every visitor to the Andaman Islands an exceptional ocean transportation experience. It was crafted in Singapore by Penguin Shipyard and designed by Incat Crowther. It runs its services from Port Blair to Havelock and Neil. With a capacity of 285 passengers, the 33-meter-long passenger ship Nautika has two decks that are entirely air-conditioned. The catamaran meets all international standards with a blistering speed of 30 knots. It has twin decks, Upper and Lower, which are classified into two classes: Royale and Luxury.
3. GREEN OCEAN SEAWAYS PVT. LTD.
GREEN OCEAN SEAWAYS PVT. LTD. Green Ocean Cruise is the first and only all-weather deep-sea vessel to provide an unparalleled experience between Port Blair and Havelock. It provides consciously designed space on board to allow for unrestricted movement, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic beauty of the islands as their voyage to Havelock Island unfolds. Green Ocean Seaways operates two cruises between Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil islands in the Andaman Islands.
(a) GREEN OCEAN -1Green Ocean 1 is a deep sea sailing vessel of the M.S class. It may not appear fanciful, but it performs splendidly in rough weather and provides the most comfortable and enjoyable ride on the Andaman Sea. Aside from the charm of sailing on a true class vessel, there is an open deck view and music and fun onboard unlike any other vessel in the Andamans. The vessel has 316 seats divided into three classes: upper deck-royal class, middle deck-luxury class, and lower deck-deluxe class.
(b) GREEN OCEAN -2 Green Ocean 2 is a high-speed monohull vessel with a modern design and aesthetics that prioritize speed, agility, and comfort. The ship has plush interiors and seating with plenty of legroom. The vessel has 198 seats, which are divided into upper deck-royal class and lower deck-deluxe and luxury class.
4. SEA LINK
It is the third company in the Andaman Islands to begin operations with a single monohull ship, SEA LINK-1, in the Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil sectors. The ship has two decks with premium and Deluxe seating.
5. SONAR MARINE CONSULTANT PVT LTD
This company operates the AASHI cruise. It is an experienced marine service company that has been in the industry for the last 25 years. They recently began operations in the Andaman Islands and currently cover the Port Blair to Havelock route, with plans to expand to the Neil Islands as well.
